Aden Nursing Home and Elderly Care Center

With its peaceful, pleasant, and warm living environment Aden Nursing Home...

In Aden Nursing Home, a 24/7 ambulance transport service is provided by our collaborator Ege Ambulance Service. Our healthcare professionals conduct regular health checks and refer a resident to the relevant health institution for a health problem that cannot be treated in our centre.

For our resident’s non-urgent medical needs such as examination, laboratory scan, health report renewal, dialysis, Tomography or MR shooting that takes place in hospitals, our health team assists with the transfer. Our residents are provided with assistance from their beds in our centre to the bed of the hospital.

We also assist with the transport of our residents who need regular chemotherapy or dialysis.

In case of an emergency, we transfer the patient to the nearest health institution by 112 emergency ambulances of the Ministry of Health, which is located 1 km away from our centre. If our residents pre-request a different health institution, the transport will be carried out by Ege Ambulans, an icu equipped emergency ambulance with a medical team of a doctor or a paramedic, an emergency medical technician and a driver.

Residents with hip fractures and similar complaints are provided with special vacuum stretchers. Patients with COPD and similar complaints are provided with oxygen support and the appropriate medical equipment. We mean to provide all the necessary medical equipment and comfort to our residents during their transport.

On request, our healthcare professionals can escort our residents to the health institution for an additional fee. We also provide transport to our centre, after the process in the health institution is completed.

We aim to prevent health problems caused by malnutrition and poor diet. Our expert health professionals create healthy balanced diet programs by calculating calories and nutrients.

  • We establish an effective Healthy Balanced Diet program to prevent and combat chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, gout, and kidney disease.
  • We find solutions to problems caused by conditions such as obesity or cachexia.
  • We create a special diet for our bedridden patients during their treatment.
  • We prepare special diet programs for residents that suffer from Celiac, lactose intolerance, and food allergies.
  • Special diet programs are prepared for our residents according to their needs and when necessary.

Our social workers organise gentle games, hobbies, and entertainment activities for our residents. We also organise mini-concerts, poetry events and talks as part of our collaboration with public education centres. We create a lively social environment for our residents no matter what.

We organise events for holidays and special days including birthdays. We invite relatives of our residents if possible.

Our centre is in Karaburun, an area with a distinctive climatic feature of 23.6% oxygen level in its air. It is known as the second-highest oxygen rate in Turkey, following the Kaz Mountains region. We organise walks and trips outdoors for our residents who wish to benefit from this unique opportunity that nature offers us.

We create and maintain suitable conditions and technological infrastructure for our residents to have a good time.

In addition to the wi-fi connection in our entire building, our centre offers computers for individual use. We have a Macro vision system where we play movies for our residents. We also have a library, a hobby garden, a semi-Olympic swimming pool, and a cafeteria located on a terrace with a beautiful view. Reading-aloud activities are organised for our residents who love to read but cannot do so due to their vision problems.

Social and mental activities are carried out within the framework of a plan prepared by our health care professionals, social worker and psychologist to effectively combat illnesses such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

We collaborate with associations, unions, societies, and schools to organise visits to our centre. If you wish to visit our Nursing Home and residents, you can contact our call centre and plan a visit. For detailed information, please contact 444 5 911
